Hello readers! What are your gastronomical plans for this dazzling December? If you haven’t planned anything yet , allow me to suggest you a food festival which is worth to be a part of. When I heard about that festival, I hardly waited to pay a visit. A globally notable brand “HARD ROCK CAFÉ” is all set to host a meat feast named “ROC-B-QUE” across its branches in India. This festival was commenced on 01-DEC-2018 and will be on till 31-JAN-2019.
Talking about hard rock, across the continents it is known for it’s signature burgers, incredible cocktails and barbecue spread. It is operational in 74 countries including 185 cafes, 25 hotels and 12 casinos. Beginning with an Eric Clapton guitar, hard rock owns the world’s premium collection of music memorabilia, which is displayed at its locations around the globe. Hard rock is also familiar for collectable fashion and music related merchandise.
Location and Ambience:
It sits in St.Marks road, Bengaluru. They have ample space which could accommodate a decent cluster of folks. As aforementioned, they have a splendid collection of premium guitars, and music merchandise hanged on lateritious walls which gives you a unique vibe. They also have a mini bouquet with a collection of hoodies, t-shirts, denims and fashion accessories.
They serve a specially curated menu for ROC-B-QUE festival which seems an amalgamation of various cuisines like Mediterranean, Italian and Mexican etc. The chef succeeded in retaining the authenticity of dishes served on the table. The Big Bulled Iced Tea:
This iced tea tastes refreshing. It comprises of blue curacao, red bull and a bit of tequila. The volume served there is sufficient for a duo.
BBQ Carnivore Platter:
It’s a BBQ platter comprise of chicken skewers, BBQ chicken wings, crisp chicken sliders . I would prefer to call it as a chicken feast platter. BBQ chicken wings are well-cooked and has got a sweet and tangy taste. Chicken skewers just won my heart . Skewers are cooked to perfection and extremely tender in terms of texture. If you are a chicken fanatic, this is a must try. The size of the slider is quite handy and crispy chicken is sandwiched between fluffy buns which tasted great.
Herb crusted grilled chicken, laced with chardonnay sauce, tomato basil raghu accompanied by spaghetti tossed in Chilli garlic & olive oil . Herb crusted chicken has a strong aroma and herb flavor infused in it and the tenderness of chicken and with chardonnay sauce tasted delicious. Spaghetti tasted great but it could have been cooked a bit more.
Herb crusted tenderloin steak served with burgeon steak sauce and cheesy mashed potato and basil pesto veggies. I preferred the steak to be abstemiously cooked so that I could enjoy that chewy texture. Burgeon is basically a mushroom sauce which has a strong flavor of spice and sweet. The mashed potato served here is quite addictive and perfectly matched with the steak .
The way the chef executed this dish is just a visual treat. Juicy Norwegian salmon was served on a bed of roasted garlic quinoa and rice with a chili cilantro crème, topped with pepper and corn. Such a great combination of ingredients! The taste of garlic quinoa with cilantro crème just blew my mind. It has all the flavors properly balanced and you could feel that richness of every element in the dish.
Caribbean Jerk Chicken:
Since I am fan of Caribbean chicken, I ordered and eagerly waited to taste it. The seasoning was quite fragrant with fiery jerk chicken. Chicken is well-cooked and tasted great with the spicy rice pilaf served with it.
Chipotle Chicken Skewers:
Char grilled chicken marinated with smoky chipotle and tex-mex spice rub, served with honey mustard dip. Well, the chef achieved in balancing the smokey and spicy elements. The skewers with honey mustard tasted phenomenal. Do not miss to try this when you visit Hard rock.
Well, it was truly a vast experience with their food and service. The service was great indeed with courteous staff. So hurry up and head to hard rock before 31st of January to indulge in their various lip-smacking, delightful flavors.
