New menu launch at Big Pitcher!

My decision to visit Big pitcher stems from a fellow blogger who had been there quite often. Big pitcher has already entrenched its own reputation for being a hexa themed pub in the city of Bengaluru. This brand which sits in old airport road has so much to offer to its food loyals. They integrated all the six restaurants in a single building in which each floor is dedicated to a different theme. Aside from food, they have their own brewery where they brew different types of beer with special interest.

Looking more at the ambiance ..

 “CLUB KAHUNA”

Sits in ground and first floor of big pitcher where people could stream the sports on a big screen. Here you get to witness their live pizzeria baking some exotic pizzas filling the dining area with aromas. They have a bar counter too.

“SPLITWOOD”

Located in level 2 of big pitcher. As the name connotes, wooden themed decored place which is suitable for fine dining with mates and family. They do have happy hours some days in a week. You could also get entertained by playing Foosball too!

“SIZZLING STREET

Situated in level 3 of big pitcher. This a place which welcomes you with its diverse spread of buffet which includes dishes of Indian and continental. If you are planning for team lunch of dinner, this would a wise choice to opt.

“STUDIO 4121”

Settled in level 4 of big pitcher. How wonderful it is, to have an entire floor dedicated to dance. The music will surely make you to shake your body and here you could spot the crowd which is charged with joy. In my words, it’s floor of the joy!

“STAR LOUNGE”

Positioned in level 5 of big pitcher. I would prefer to mark it as a head of big pitcher due to its position and ambiance. It’s open terrace welcomes with premium look and euphoria. What could be better than a candle light dinner with a glass of wine ,toothsome food on a breezy evening.

When most of the restaurants are focusing on various food festivals, big pitcher has launched a new menu which comprise of various scrumptious dishes. The prices of the dishes in their new menu aren’t skyrocketing but very much in budget. Before I talk about the food I would like to appreciate the chef for presenting all the dishes in an impressive manner. I got an opportunity to delish their new menu which includes the following

Kiwi Mocktail:

This mocktail tastes very fresh ,mild and it has got the strong flavour of kiwi with slight minty touch.

Chef’s special watermelon mocktail:

A plain watermelon mocktail with a watermelon piece on it which will refresh your mind.

Doodhia kabab:

A mild ajwain flavoured tender paneer brushed with malai is truly a best starter to initiate your meal with. Paneer pieces are succulent and just melt on your tongue . The flavours of ajwain and malai are well-balanced.

Scotch eggs:

Well, I am impressed by the way the chef executed this dish. The crumb is fried to golden perfection with the minced lamb meat and an egg pouched in it. This dish is served with the chef’s special dipping which added an extra essence to the eggs. Do not miss to try this!

Chicken roulade:

A well-cooked minced pieces of chicken is rolled with ricotta cheese and drenched partially in pomegranate dressing. The chicken is well-cooked and tastes delectable.

Green chicken ghee roast:

This Manglorean dish was cooked at its best with the green marinade properly infused in the chicken pieces . The spice level is pretty good and could have been even more delicious with more amount of ghee.

Fish nam phirik pao:

This starter is presented in a beautiful basket. The untoughened pieces of fish are cooked with the marinade of sweet chilli and traces of oyster sauce with mild sesame touch. Mix of sweet chilli and oyster sauce brought a tangy and spicy taste to the dish.

Risotto con Gamberi:

I would prefer to say that the chef nailed this dish. Unlike other Italian dishes like pizza and pasta, making of risotto required a certain skill to get that perfect texture and taste. Here it is cooked with cheese, prawns, herbs, parsley and some Italian seasonings. The consistency is quite thick and when I was gulping, I even sensed the taste of mild garlic. I would love to have this dish whenever I visit the Big pitcher.

Namma uru Pizza (Non-veg):

It is fairly thin crusted chicken pizza moderately topped bell pepper, broccoli , and onion pieces. The amount of cheese was adequate and the base is made up of Ragi (Finger millet flour). In a word, this healthy version of pizza tasted great. It will not give you the feel of having ragi. You will truly be impressed by its taste!

Smoked chicken sausage sizzler:

Smoked chicken sausage is tossed in garlic sauce and accompanied by the french fries, beans and carrot. The strong garlicky taste goes really well with the sausage.

Tiramisu:

This flossy textured tiramisu is a bliss! Its low on sugar and high on coffee and will urge you to have more bites.

Panna cotta:

The chef succeeded in bring that perfect jelly consistency to the panacotta. It has got that perfect wobble. The way it was presented was quite fancy. The plate has 3 different flavored panacottas namely mango, coffee and blueberry. I preferred the mango one because of its mangolicious taste.

Emphatically, it was a great experience with their food and ambience. Last but not the least, the staff here are very courteous and prompt in terms of service. You have an option of choosing the restaurant of your interest from the aforementioned names. When everything sounds perfect to you, what are you waiting for?
