“The eatery” is all set to serve their new menu!

If I had to look for a restaurant to host corporate lunch or a family gathering, the first thing I look at is the cuisine of focus, spread of the buffet and pricing. If you are also looking for similar aspects; allow me to suggest a place which is absolutely apt for you. My recent visit to this place was a quite delightful affair and definitely an experience to remember. “The eatery” at four points by Sheraton is the place which I am talking about. After serving some delicious food to the folks of Bengaluru for many years , now “The Eatery” is all set to serve mesmerize its patrons with their new menu.

Prices: Rs. 599++ for breakfast, Rs. 825++ for lunch, Rs. 1025++ for dinner (Mon-sat) , Rs.1599++ for Sunday brunch with IMFL, Rs.1100++ for Sunday brunch with soft beverages

The ambience is quite enchanting  with classy seating and decors. They have a commodious space which could comfortably accommodate a crowd of 72 approximately. They also have a small private dinning space for 8 guests.


The cuisine of focus in their buffet is primarily Indian. The spread of dishes in the buffet covers some of the most significant dishes from various states in north to southern parts of India. I was there for a lunch with a cluster of food admirers to relish their new dishes. I commenced my meal with a piece of bread and chicken soup. The consistency of the soup was thick and has a perfect equilibrium of flavours of chicken and spices.

Mentioning about the starters, I have tasted paneer tikka angara, malai broccoli & cauliflower, mutton sheekh kebab, murgh tikka etc. Paneer was so tender and rich in taste. Broccoli was fresh and had an adequate amount of malai which turned out to be an absolutely delicious starter. Mutton sheekh kebab is cooked to perfection and tasted delectable.

They have a dedicated salad bar with various toppings which allows you to prepare your own style of salad. Cucumber canapees , French potato salad and melon with feta are my favourites and are light in tummy.

Apart of regular salads they also serve some amazing Mediterranean savoury dishes and dips to indulge in. Hummus, cucumber & beetroot tzatziki are highlights here . I could feel the richness of chick pea and olive oil in hummus.

Focusing on main course , they have a huge spread of north & south Indian curries. The chef succeeded in retaining the authenticity of all the curries without any fusion. I started my main course with gongura rice, vada curry , makkanwala khukkud  and gosht hari mirch korma. Gongura rice was good but could have been better. Vada curry is definitely a must try. Makhanwala khukkud is my favourite of all the curries. The chicken in it is beautifully cooked and has a juicy and creamy texture. It tasted great with garlic naan and other Indian breads.

Some continental dishes like lasagna and wok tossed vegetables are minor inclusions in their buffet but certainly worth trying.

If would you like to have a freshly prepared appam with stew, you are most welcome to place an order at their live counter. They have a couple to dedicated live counters where you could order appam and dosa etc. Chicken biryani was good and gobi pulao was very basic and snug.

No matter how much main course I eat, I will always have some space in my tummy for desserts. Here they have so many attention-grabbing desserts. My favourite are opera pastry & hazelnut mousse, lemon grass mousse , crunchy fruit tart and custard pie. Another thing that deserve a specific mention about their desserts is the presentation. The moment you look at those you feel like starting your meal with desserts.

Overall, for me it’s a delightful experience with their wide spread of buffet. I can surely say this is one of the best places to host corporate lunches, family dinners and causal dinners etc. The menu of the buffet changes everyday .Staff are extremely courteous and has a profound knowledge on the dishes. Now you know where to plan your upcoming event!
